{re}cycled Christmas Lights
It’s that time of year again, when we are all going through our Holiday décor, testing out the strands of lights.
Hoping they all work, but half of them never do!
So why not do something fun with the broken ones?
A little glitter perhaps?
Everything we are going to need is in the craft drawer.
Elmers glue or modge podge
A brush of some kind
Paper plate
And Glitter…I prefer Martha Stewart’s line available at Jo~Ann’s but any will do.
Wax paper to dry them on
This can also be done with any cheap ornament too.
Paint on the glue
Heavy and covered, but NOT dripping!
Roll, Sprinkle or Dust….get sparkly!

Now that they are dry lets display them.
Try filling a vase with your favorite floral display,
Place this vase inside of a larger clear vase of your choice and fill the empty space with your shimmery new bulbs.
Or…..
Fill your favorite vintage bowl with an eye popping statement.
Group with candles and other décor for a beautiful center piece on your dining table.
A great way to upcycle broken lights and bring a little more shimmer to your Holiday!
Cheers,
Amanda
